Hiroki Ishikawa
Born in Ibaraki, Japan, 1987. Ishikawa received MFA degree from the Sculpture Department at Tokyo University of the Arts in 2014 and MFA degree at Goldsmiths, University of London in 2019. He lived and worked in the UK from 2017 – 2020 supported by Nomura Art Foundation 2017 and Pola Art Foundation 2019-2020. His art practice examines consistently a power structure in labour situations, offers a critique of contemporary society and the historical and industrial context and its underlying fears and desires that spin a reality and a surrealistic narrative of contemporary society. His artworks have been exhibited in numerical shows, ‘Synthetic Mediart' / Taiwan, ‘Subject and Object’ Pola Museum Annex 2021 / Tokyo, ‘Temporary Satisfaction’ Solo Show Fitzrovia Gallery 2020 / London, ‘Nakanojo Biennale 2021 and 2019’ / Gunma, ‘Gold X’ Deptford X 2018 / London.
石川洋樹
1987年茨城生まれ。2014年東京芸術大学大学院美術研究科彫刻専攻修了、2019年ロンドン大学ゴールドスミスMFA修了。2017 - 2020年在外研修員として（野村財団 / 2017、ポーラ美術振興財団 / 2019-2020) 英国ロンドンに滞在。近年では労働における力構造や制度と実状のねじれなどを問いながら、現代社会の産業的構造、個人の不安や欲望などを分解し、暗示的なモチーフと組み替えたシュールレアリスティックな彫刻、映像作品を制作している。主な活動歴に、「Traveling the hole」福島葛尾AIR(2022)、「Synthetic Mediart」Art Shelter 台湾(2021)、「主体と客体」ポーラ美術館アネックス(2021)、「Temporary Satisfaction」個展 The Fizrovia Gallery / London（2020)、「中之条ビエンナーレ」(2019・2021)、Deptford X / London (2018)など国内外の展覧会に参加。
